For the first time in its Executive Master program, the School of Collective Intelligence (SCI), in collaboration with UM6P Global Hubs France, hosted a three-day immersive Learning Expedition in Paris designed to bring the core principles of collaborative leadership into real-world practice.
Created as a hands-on exploration of collective decision-making, the program moved beyond classroom theory to examine live case studies, participatory frameworks, and governance models. Participants engaged in specialized workshops covering essential themes in modern leadership, including collaborative framing, fact-checking, structured dialogue, and institutional accountability.
Key highlights of the expedition included an inside look at citizen participation mechanisms during a visit to the Conseil Économique, Social et Environnemental (CESE), alongside practical sessions on dialogue methodologies in partnership with Parlons Energies EDF. The immersive journey culminated in the VERTOX mission game, an interactive simulation requiring real-time strategy, group alignment, and adaptive problem-solving.
By pairing institutional visits with experiential learning, SCI and UM6P Global Hubs France continue to pioneer dynamic educational formats that equip leaders with the collaborative mindsets and decision-making tools needed to navigate complex organizational environments. Participants expressed great enthusiasm throughout the expedition, highlighting the depth of insights gained and the value of experiencing collective intelligence firsthand.
